Loch Ness by Jacobite

Loch Ness is one of the world’s most famous bodies of water, and there are few better ways to experience it than with Jacobite. Harnessing over 40 years’ experience sailing this vast and hypnotic waterway, you’re in safe hands on a Jacobite cruise, whether you’re riding the Jacobite Queen, Warrior, Rebel or Princess, as its boats are named. The recipient of a 2015 TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, the company offer as many as nine cruise and tour options, departing from three separate locations, with customers free to choose the length of their trip, from one to seven hours. Along the way you’ll hear more about the myths long associated with the loch, and get the chance to take advantage of some excellent photo opportunities. As you glide through the Great Glen, you’ll be overwhelmed by the breathtaking beauty of picturesque Urquhart and Aldourie Castles on the shoreline. Of course, being surrounded by all that water can presage a drouth; luckily, you can purchase a wee dram or a coffee from the bar. There’s also a selection of Scottish produce to sample as you glide across the loch’s glassy waters.

A pleasant afternoon sailing on Loch Ness. We didn't see any monsters, but learned a lot about the area and history from the informative guide... and were even treated to multiple scottish songs. We had a 2 hour cruise with a familly ticket or 2 adults and 2 children for £55. On board drinks, snacks and gifts for sale. Sonar display of the loch to watch for Nessie. Our dog was allowed on board for no extra charge.
